Asset Management Specialist
General Purpose:
The Asset Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining
the WTC warehouse, delivering supplies, ensuring routine maintenance and
inspection of agency vehicles and facilities. This position also supports
operational logistics and performs minor building repairs. Work is performed
under the supervision of designated management and requires adherence to
safety, compliance, and confidentiality standards. A personal auto is required
as some travel is required. High school education or GED required. Pay
range $13.34 - $15.22/hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Transportation & Delivery:
- Deliver
supplies, and other materials to designated facilities as requested.
- Organize
and schedule pickups and deliveries between warehouses, centers, and
training sites.
- Ensure
timely loading and unloading of goods and materials.
Asset Maintenance
?
Conduct and document monthly vehicle maintenance
checks per checklist (e.g., oil, fluids, tire pressure).
- Arrange
for and oversee inspections, repairs, oil changes, and cleaning of center
vehicles as assigned.
- Work
with WTC staff to ensure all agency vehicles remain clean, safe,
roadworthy, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Review
current logs in each vehicle as needed.
- Complete
routine inspections of center assets to include vehicles, buildings and
other assets as assigned.
Facilities Maintenance (As Needed):
- Perform
minor maintenance, repairs, and inspections in agency-operated buildings
or residences.
- Maintain
tools and equipment in clean, working condition and follow all safety
guidelines when operating.
- Assist
with identifying and reporting safety hazards and ensure compliance with
safety codes.
- Support
inventory control of tools and contractor product storage areas.
- Responsible
for security and cleanliness in the warehouse
Qualifications:
- High
school diploma or GED required.
- Valid
Texas Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
- Must
have access to and be able to operate a personal vehicle when required.
- Ability
to lift and transport goods, materials, or tools safely. Must be able to
lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.
- Knowledge
of vehicle and basic building maintenance is preferred.
- Strong
organizational, time management, and documentation skills.

Staff will establish and maintain effective work
relationships with individuals served and their families, supervisors,

respectful behavior. Staff will adhere to employee Confidentiality Statement
and follow Information Services policy/ procedure guidelines related to
security and accountability as a user of WTC network and software application
technology.
All team members will promote and ensures safety guidelines
are followed for the work environment by maintaining clean, neat, organized and
safe work areas. This includes but is not limited to the following:
- Safety
concerns are reported to supervisor immediately upon discovery and/or
corrected.
- Identifies
and reports any unsafe factors in the environment.
- Reports
and/or corrects safety hazards in the work area.
- Utilizes
universal precautions when handling all blood and body fluids.
- Adheres
to all standards, policies and procedures of infection control.
- Universal
precautions are utilized in accordance to WTC policy and procedures.
Team Members must have and maintain a driving record that is
acceptable for insurability through the Center's insurance carrier. Staff
must maintain a safe, inspected and road-worthy vehicle and have a valid Texas
Driver's License. Staff must notify their supervisor immediately of any driving
violations or citations received from law enforcement with no evidence of
failure to report. Must meet the criteria that indicate a commitment to safe
and responsible driving as defined by the Texas Risk Management Fund.
