404 Administrative Medication Tech

Starting Pay: $ 14.24

Prioritize process and take appropriate action on Physician's orders/consents received from clinic staff. Match physician's orders/consents for initial medication order. Responsible for organizing documentation and verifications of medication for reorder. Assist with inventory and transport of indigent medications. Responsible for monitoring physician's orders for formulary medications offered by PAP for the use of indigent consumers. Order appropriate medications. Order medications as indicated on the monthly reorder list. Maintain consumer charts, records and database.

Job Functions include:

  • Maintain the monitoring and tracking report systems for Free Sample Inventory.
  • Responsible for organizing documentation and verification of medication for reorder.
  • Assist with inventory and transport of indigent medications.
  • Copy medical records request received from DARS.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with all Medicaid related agencies.
  • Maintain relationships with unit staff and Physicians, including continual open communication of needs and/or problems.

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Must have a valid Texas Driver License and an acceptable driving record

Must pass background check and drug screening
