436 Support Services Tech

West Texas Centers is seeking a Support Service Technician to provide high-quality, person-centered support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Services are delivered in the community and in the individual's home, promoting independence, inclusion, and skill development. Salary:$12.90

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, lifting, repositioning, and transferring as needed.

Support individuals in areas of independent living, self-help, community participation, and social development.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation within 24 hours of service delivery.

Provide Employment Assistance and Supported Employment, including job coaching and employer contact on behalf of individuals served.

Deliver Community Supports/Supported Home Living (SHL) services focusing on money management, community access, and health maintenance.

Provide In-Home Respite services and follow all established respite plans.

Safely transport individuals to employment, training, and community activities in accordance with Center policy.

Assist with medication monitoring and ordering per WTC procedures.

Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow all infection control and safety guidelines.

Report all incidents, injuries, and suspected abuse/neglect immediately as required by policy.

Participate in all required training, including CPR & First Aid, and maintain current certification.
