436 Support Services Tech

West Texas Centers is seeking highly motivated individuals to serve as Support Services Technicians. In this role, you will provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in both community settings and in their homes. Services focus on promoting independence, community integration, and overall quality of life.

Salary: $12.90

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training, supervision, and support in:
    • Self-care and independent living skills
    • Community participation and social development
    • Employment readiness and job coaching
    • Financial management
    • Health maintenance
  • Assist individuals with personal care needs (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
  • Support behavioral intervention plans and promote positive coping strategies
  • Transport individuals to work, appointments, and community activities as needed
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency policies
  • Follow all individualized service plans and training programs
  • Assist with medication monitoring per policy
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and families
  • Report incidents, safety concerns, and suspected abuse/neglect immediately



Position requires either a High School Diploma, GED, or 3 letters of reference and the completion of a WTC competency test. Must be proficient in reading and writing. **Letters of reference must be from individuals who have no family relation to the applicant. Valid Driver's license, vehicle insurance and background check.
