Starting pay: $20.45
·Provide screening and assessment in accordance with the DSM-V criteria as well as the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) criteria to determine eligibility or referral.
·Provide individualized treatment planning with measurable goals and objectives and complete reviews in a timely manner.
·Provide individual counseling, process group therapy and psycho-educational group weekly.
The primary role of a West Texas Centers tele-support LCDC is to provide recovery-oriented individual/group counseling, using virtual and telephonic engagement to reach COPSD clients in areas where access to substance use recovery resources are limited.
·Ensure all case management documentation and service coordination activities are completed in accordance with license expectations; documentation is completed within WTC required time frames.
·Maintain professional attitude and behavior; follow Code of Ethics for LCDC, and WTC.
·Staff hired at LCDC-I certification must comply with HHS and West Texas Centers Clinical Training Institute rules and regulations regarding the supervision under a Qualified Credentialed Counselor.
·Qualified Credentialed Counselor must comply with HHS and West Texas Center CTI rules and regulations regarding the supervision of LCDC-I.
·LCDC-I must have passed the state licensing examination to gain employment with West Texas Centers.
·Community outreach may include educating communities about substance abuse prevention and other related issues, speak at public engagements and represent West Texas Centers on local committees and or community advisory councils.
·Duties of the position will require frequent interactions with individuals served, their families, and other service providers.
·Requires flexible hours, involves extensive paperwork and follow-up, and will require self-directed performance. Falsification of any document constitutes grounds for dismissal.
· Positive communication skills and customer service skills are essential.
· Travel and the use of a personal vehicle are required. Must have a valid Texas driver's license and a driving record that is acceptable for insurability through the Centers insurance carrier.
