Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA)
West Texas Centers is seeking a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to
join our Mental Health Division.
Locations Positions may be based in:
Andrews, Big Spring, Brownfield, Colorado City, Denver City, Kermit, Lamesa,
McCamey, Monahans, Pecos, Post, Seminole, Snyder, Sweetwater, or Winters.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Flexibility is expected to meet client and program needs.
Salary: $70,000
Position Summary:
The LPHA provides diagnostic assessments, eligibility determinations, counseling services, crisis consultation, and clinical support services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health concerns.
Depending on assignment, the position may focus on: intake and assessment services, counseling services, or a combination of both. Clinicians work onsite from their assigned clinic and may remotely connect to other clinic locations to provide behavioral health services through telehealth platforms.
Responsibilities:
Complete diagnostic assessments and eligibility determinations
Develop treatment recommendations
Provide individual, family, and group counseling
Deliver evidence-based interventions, including CBT
Complete timely clinical documentation in the EHR
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
Provide consultation and support to clinical staff
Participate in crisis consultation rotation
Qualifications:
Unrestricted Texas license as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Valid Texas Driver's License and insurable driving record
Preferred Skills
Experience with community mental health services
Experience working with adults, children, and adolescents
Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
Experience providing telehealth services
