The Center began operations on March 1, 1997 and continues to operate through a contractual relationship with the Texas Department Health and Human Services Commission. We proudly serve the citizens of Andrews, Borden, Crane, Dawson, Fisher, Gaines, Garza, Glasscock, Howard, Kent, Loving, Martin, Mitchell, Nolan, Reeves, Runnels, Scurry, Terrell, Terry, Upton, Ward, Winkler and Yoakum counties. The Center provides a wide array of services in approximately 35 sites across the service area to over 2700 individuals through the dedication of approximately 300 staff.  Although administrative offices are located at 319 Runnels, Big Spring, Howard County, Texas, local offices are established throughout most of the catchment area. Position Overview: The Chief Financial Officer will be a pivotal leader within our organization, overseeing the financial management and business services at the Center. Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will play a crucial role in guiding our financial strategy, ensuring robust accounting controls, and maintaining efficient operations across various departments including accounting, contracting, and reimbursement. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the CEO and Deputy CEO to develop and execute a strategic plan that integrates financial planning with our broader vision. As the official representative for financial services, you will maintain effective relationships with department heads, staff, and external vendors.
